We begin at kilometer 104 and walked all day until about 04:00 p.m. to the town of Aguas Calientes, where we are staying in a hotel. The next day , very early , we will go to Machu Picchu on the first bus and your guide will guide for about 2 hours then back to cusco .<\/p>\n<h2>Day 1: CUSCO \u2013 KM104 \u2013 AGUAS CALIENTES<\/h2>\n<p>We will pick up from your hotel early in the morning then trasfer you until ollantaytambo station 1 hour and 30 minutes approximately, Here we board the Expedition train, we will travel for about 1 hour and 30 minutes until 104 (start of our trek At Km 104 after pass the control , we began to walk softly beside Willkamayu\u00a0River . Starting the way we will see the archeological site of of Chachabamba , a stone altar -site that was used to worship the sun and the mountains , still revered by local people . After visiting Chachabamba , we continue our hiking We may also see some larger mammals such as Viscachas (rabbit-like Chinchillas) and Spectacled Bears (if we are very lucky). After walking 3 hours , the road descends into a forest amazing. Here you will find a beautiful waterfall , then get to the bottom of the ruins of Winaywayna . Appreciate the beauty of this place ,<\/p>\n<p>After a full days trekking we\u2019ll arrive to the Sun Gate (Inti Punku) in the late afternoon and get our first views of Machu Picchu spread out on the mountain below. That site it\u2019s a perfect place to take really nice pictures of machu picchu surrounded by impressive mountain peaks, deep valleys and the Urubamba River. From Intipunku we will descend \u00a030 minutes for the citadel and we will place it at the top to rest and take pictures. Finally, we will take the bus to Aguas Calientes (2,030 meters), where we will spend the night, where we have the opportunity to visit the hot springs of the place..<\/p>\n<p>Included: Lunch \u00a0(box lunch) \/ Dinner<\/p>\n<h2>DAY 2: MACHU PICCHU &#8211; CUSCO!<\/h2>\n<p>After early breakfast at your hotel, we\u00a0will take a bus up to machupicchu wirth our Willka Guide to the ruins of machupicchu which only takes 30 minutes and departs every 10 minutes. Or if you don\u2019t want to take the bus but prefer\u00a0to hike along the Inca trail, just let your guide know so that he can show you the Inca trail to Machupicchu, which takes\u00a0about 1h 20 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>In Machupicchu you will meet your group and have\u00a0a 2 hours guided tour. Then you will have extra time to explore the ruins by yourself. If on the other hand you want to see Huaynapicchu, you can climb it or you can go to the most famous spot of Machupicchu. The sun gate is 1 hour climb,\u00a0if you simply want to get postcard pictures of the ruins. We encourage all the travelers to make the most of their time in this place. The climb takes 1 hour\u00a0is moderately difficult. The other option is the Machu Picchu Mountain, 1.5 hours steep climb, very demanding and $ 50\u00a0per person. This is probably the most spectacular of all views, but all three options are very nice and will allow you to make very good photos.<\/p>\n<p>As the weather is very cold and damp, your clothes, even wet, will not dry at night.
