HUMANTAY TREK PROGRAM  2D/1N

We made this trek for those nature lovers who don`t have many days but they want to find spectacular landscapes with exotic flora and fauna. Along this hike adventure you will be able to find beautiful valleys, rivers natural waterfalls, White Mountains and one of the most important lakes- Humantay – considered as a sacred mountain in Incan Mythology. DAY 01 CUSCO – MOLLEPATA – SORAYPAMPA – HUMANTAY  – SORAYPAMPA

We will pass by your respective hotel to pick you up between 5:30 to 6:00am, then we will travel in our private transportation to Mollepata village (2 hours approximately) located in the lush valley of the Apurimac River. After our breakfast in Mollepata to get energy we will continue our journey towards Soraypampa (3900msnm), where we start our trek for 1 hour and 30 minutes approximately to Humantay lake located at (4200 msnm ) 13779 feet once we finish walking for 1 hour and 30 minutes we will see the wonderful Apu Humantay and the amazing lake considered as a sacred place in Incan mythology. In this part of the trek you can rent a horse to get to the lake, also if you want you can swim there.

After visiting this important place we will return to our camping point and we will have lunch with a beautiful panoramic view of the snowy peaks camping in soraypampa.

DAY 2: SORAYPAMPA – SALKANTAY MOUNTAIN VIEW – SORAYPAMPA  – CUSCO

Breakfast in our  base camp, optional hike to see the glaciar of salkantay 2 hours and 30 min aproximately , after to take some photos we will return to our camping point 2 hours and 30 min aproximately,  where we have the lunch after we will take you back to Cusco.
